Competence and Focus
Philip Wang is an Agile coach, Scrum/XP practitioner, and an Agile enthusiast. He has rich experience on Agile and on helping client to adopt Agile to improve the overall performance of teams, leaders and organizations via asking questions, providing reflective observations, facilitating, mentoring, teaching and coaching. He is familiar with multiple practices in Agile Software Development, like CI/CD, Testing Automation, User Story Mapping, Specification by Example, and so on.
Working Experience
- Since October 2017, Philip joined Odd-e as Agile Coach. Besides providing daily coaching to multiple project teams, his current focus is DevOps and adopting Agile in large-scale organizations.
- From November 2006 to October 2016, Philip has held increasing responsible positions at Perficient (China) an US NASDAQ listed (PRFT) IT consulting company where he was a Director of Operations. During his time at Perficient Philip has been a strong proponent of Agile principles and practices. He has not only applied these principles and practices in the various projects he has led but also coaches non-Agile experienced project leads to develop their understanding and application of these techniques.
- From October 2002 to October 2006, Philip worked in Hundsun Inc as Department Manager working on Japanese market oriented software offshore development.
